So we lost.
Great.
It was terrible. They can;t even say they played their best because the entire country has seen their best. And last night, that was not it. Oh well, nothing we can do about it now...EXCEPT FOR THE FACT THAT WE KICKED NORWAYS ASS!! YEAH!
Anyway...
I'm gonna go backwards in time.
Today was a good day. Worked all day the the System Science Fair doing tech stuff, then got the Saxophone out to Lakeshore music to get it repaired. Still, THAT isn't going to happen until monday. I definitely won't have it ready for class, and will only have it for band if I'm VERY lucky. Moving along, Steve came by and we went out to the Whistling Walrus for dinner, and helped Uncle David Tabone (YEAH!) set up for his show. Reflexion is just...amazing. They are all masters at their instruments, and Tabone is an incredible showman. Hopefully they're still around when I finally decide to settle down and get married, because it'll be them doing that party.
Moving farther back, Natasha came over on friday and we did many nerdy things. Well...One nerdy thing. But we did it a few times.
I'm of course, talking about Doctor Who.
She hadn't seen the Specials that were released since the regular season ended back in 2008, so we watched those. We didn't get to The End of Time, but that's alright. She freaked out enough with Waters of Mars (One of the best episodes of television I've seen in a very long time) and I wasn't going to start End of Time Pt. 1 because the cliffhanger to that is just cruel. Then we watched the gold medal match for Women's Curling...and there shall be no more words said about that. I already talked about it at the top.
Thursday..was interesting. We're getting better. But setting up at the HCC was PHUN. I like that place, and their powered Eons. I wanted to steal one. But we didn't. The show went alright. Like I said..we're getting better.
Wednesday involved snow. I'm pretty sure Clara was high again. Or something. We need to stop putting those pills in her drinks.
Tuesday, I didn't go to the performance. I made the decision that I would actually go to a full day of school, and I did. Although I missed Brandon falling on his face. Which would have been HIlarious. Am I a terrible person?
Yes? I am?
COOL!
Monday Corbo and I set up for the Michaelangelo show. Which was fun. Not really. But hey, the work needs to be done by someone, right?
I'm backtracking too far I think. I might have already talked about this.
Oh well.
Hockey tonight? I have to admit, I don't care all that much. The Curling match was much more exciting.
In the city of darkness you're a brilliant star.
(PS, thought I'd forgotten about those eh?)

Tired Troglodytes Throw Tea Time To Temptation
I'm feeling down.
Don't know if anybody cares. But it's true.
I don't really know why.
Well. Clara does. Bully for her.
Anyway.
Corbo, Riley, Marco and I went up to Michaelangelo's today to set up for the choir show tomorrow. It should be all good to go. Lots of lifting and grunting. But it was actually a pretty easy job. I'm not planning on going to the actual show tomorrow, I should probably stop skipping so much school.
Castle is on. I like Nathan Fillion. He's funny. And a very good Action Hero....well. Bumbling Action Hero.
I should probably go to bed. I dunno. I'm a very confused person tonight.

Icelandic Incidentals Invigorate
Just a little note.
Anyone here ever heard of the band Sigur Ros?
You should.
They are an Icelandic folk band, who play many instrumentals. They are along the same vein as The Polyphonic Spree and The Arcade Fire. If you like calming music that takes you back to a simpler time in one of the most beautiful countries in this big bad world, give them a listen.

Denizens Deceased, Doctor Defends Domicile
Alliteration Power!
I are bored. And shirking the duty of homework.
I'm going to pose a little quandry to everyone. If you make plans with a friend to do something, it could be anything. My example is plans to tutor someone and then crash at their house after. But, your parents also make plans for you, that they tell you nothing of. Neither party tells the other until the 11th hour. Who is at fault?
I've just been told that instead of staying over at my friend Stephan's house tomorrow, I am to return to mine own home because, SURPRISE, my stepfather wants my help doing work on HIS property the next morning. No, Can you help me or Do you have plans. No, that would be polite. Instead, I get "You need to be at the house for 8 am on Saturday, because we need to clean up the property." Never mind that he was stupid enough to rent the fucking house to the shitty tenants that never paid and left their shit all over the place. No no. I Need to help. Never mind that I'm apparently an adult now and can make my own plans, no. I am EIGHT in the eyes of my parents, not eighteen. I have been viewed as a child my entire life, and I don't see that stopping. So I'm almost ready to quit. I'm THIS close to just walking out. Packing up my stuff and leaving.
Let's try and think of better topics.
We finally played D&D again last night after a three week hiatus. It was entertaining. As always. Kev and I got most of the technical prep work we needed done for the Pathfinder game as well.
I'm hungry.
I have a migraine.
Uhhh...
I'm starting to learn Flute? I suppose that's interesting.
Well I suppose I should be off, I need to do a few things for Media Studies, a few things for Religion...
And I'd really like to watch another episode of Doctor Who. I'm THIS close to finishing it, I just haven't had the time. I'm also getting all of the specials that have been released since the series ended, so I can be fully prepared for the next edition.
(Starting March 13th!)
We scurry through the maze to find out the reward is nothing.

It's September 19th in my head EVERY DAY

Yarrrrrrrrrr!
I be challenged to write a blog entirely in pirate, and I be acceptin' said challenge!
So, yar, It be my birthday. I am now 18 yars old, and can buy tickets for the lottarrrry. Grog for all!
e
I'm not sure what ye landlubbers be thinkin. You all be knowing that I was in the World Of Disney this week. I bought mesself an eyepatch, just incase any of you scurvy dogs be thinking of taking an eye. I was having a wunnerful time down south, sailing seas and riding rides. 'Tis been many a year since I was there last (Seriously, I was three. What the fuck? You don't remember Disneyworld when you're three.) and I enjoyed it lots. My cousin, Greatbeard, came with me, and we stormed many a ship, mostly those travelling to the Mountain in Space. There was not many rides that we did nay pillage.
Yar!
I be done with Disney now, The border crossing was terrible, I had half a mind to walk instead of sailing.
Canada has won it's first Gold Medal on home soil. While it's not as interesting as if it had been on sea, I suppose it'll do.
Argh! I had nearly forgot!
La Nouba, the Cirque Du Soleil found in the treasure filled world of Disney, is a fantastical voyage through acrobatics. I was very impressed.
Oh wow. This stuff on Alex Bilodeau and his brother is really heartwarming. Just taking a moment to let everyone know that.
Well we're done 'ere for today crew. Not get back to work! I have a new motto for this ship, and we'll be putting it into use starting yestarrday!
As we wind through the shadows the darkness creeps in...

The Neccessity of Games
Well I have had a busy weekend.
The rehearsathon was...interesting.
Learning 5 new songs in one night (Note, we learned half of these songs...and gave upon many of them. Don't expect wonders from us in Nashville) is an accomplishment. I wish we had actually done it. But the Tenor Saxophone section worked hard, I'm very proud of them. We won't let everyone else down.
I refuse to comment on the choir. Maybe I'm just too professional.
And HEY!, My mom and stepdad are married now. It was a nice short ceremony, at the Discovery Center on the Bay. There were lots of people that I hadn't seen for many years, and it was nice to catchup.
There's not much more to say on that.
And ok.
Seriously.
Am I the only male that couldn't give two shits about the Superbowl?
I just don't care. It's boring.
Whatever.
I'm heading out to Disney World tomorrow night, so if you have anything you need to tell me, get it done tomorrow!
Hanging on the wall, watching Life pass me by...

Update
Grandpa's doing better.
Not complete health better.
But better enough that I'll be at the rehearsal tonight.

Whatever religion you have, Pray.
Here's the deal.
The school has a rehearsathon tomorrow. I'm not going. Instead I'm going up to Midland Hospital, where my grandpa is currently lying in the ICU. He's more stable now, but is not improving.
I don't know if the 6 people reading this are religious, or even if they care. Even just good intentions will hopefully set the universe right.
Please.

Open Your Mind....
http://www.ted.com/talks/michael_shermer_on_believing_strange_things.html
I've been watching lots of these videos. They are all really interesting and enlightening. I suggest you go look around the website, see if you can find some themes you're interested in, and watch a few.
No updates besides marks. With an 87% average, I think I'm pretty solid. Now, to next semester...not even going to mention it.
I'm getting bored of the internet.
To those of you involved in my Pathfinder project, we have all our theoretical work done. We just need to get everything on paper, and we should be good.
Darkness encloses and Light surrounds, but in each case, you'll never be found..

The Time of Many Lives
Do I have a bit of a creative writing flair? I believe I do.
I spent the last few days making some important decisions. One of these involves, Surprise!, Pathfinder. My cousin and I have just begun a project that will take up a lot of time, and a lot of paper. I'm a bit loathe to talk about it until it's a sure deal though.
Now, if you're reading this, you know who Natasha is and you visit her blog regularly. Therefore, you know how I spent my Monday night. I'm not going to elaborate on that when she has already written.
Lost season premiere in less than an hour. I'm bursting with excitement.
I'm ready to go back to school and see how well I did on those exams. History should be fun. And Math will be even better.
I don't know why I'm even writing right now. I'm only half paying attention while watching the Lost Recap.
Oh!
If anyone cares about American Politics. Obama visited the GOP dinner on friday. He gave an amazing talk about the economy, and put some of the Republicans DOWN with his responses. He also gave a talk in Nashua, New Hampshire today, where he gave another impressive talk about the current state of affairs. I was quite impressed.
Now, I'm going to focus on the television for a bit. I may get back to everyone. I may wait until tomorrow.
But in the end, we walk into the night...
PS, I'm going to try to end things with a witty comment or a one liner. We'll see how that works out for me.
