The Management

As I sit here listening to music, I've come to this realization.

I fucking LOVE MGMT.

Their lyrics are witty and intelligent, and always have multiple layers of meaning. And their music is just fantastic. It always manages to be different, and very technical. I like it a lot.

If you don't listen to them, I encourage you to check out Time to Pretend, Weekend Wars, Electric Feel and Kids off their album Oracular Spectacular. Amazing tracks that deserve to be listened to.

New Semester

While everyone else is talking about exams being over, I'm going to strive to be different.

Next semester , I have the easiest semester I've ad since grade 10 second semester. Not much can beat that year, grade 10 music, grade 10 guitar, grade 10 science and grade 10 keyboarding. I think my average was 93? Anyway.

I have Gr11 Music, Gr10 Construction, Gr11 Media Studies and Gr11 religion.

I win at school.

Speaking of Music, I still haven't learnt these songs my mom wants me to. I should probably get on that. I mean, their wedding is next saturday. The day AFTER the rehearse-a-thon. Greeeeeeeaaaaaaaaatttttttttt. I'mma be SO tired.

On a lighter note....

Nothing!

Because I can't think of anything at the moment.
And I'm a bit loath to talk about Pathfinder some more, or Doctor Who (Even though Natasha watches and I finally have someone else to talk to about The Doctor and his Tardis. Which will be useful when the next series starts.) since I get the feeling that the three people reading this blog have heard enough.

I mean. If you don't PLAY roleplaying games, you don't want to hear about them non-stop. Am I right?

Maybe I should start discussing other nerdy things?

Hmm....

Well My cousin and I finished watching the fifth season of Lost yesterday. That season finale.....Screw You JJ Abrams. Seriously. I'm just glad that I watched this with only a few days to go until the final season. If I had had to wait months...I may have shot myself. In the foot. I'm not suicidal. But that was just intense.

That reminds me of a joke.
Ask me to tell it to you some time.

Here's a question, is it really babysitting if you're not looking after a baby?
I just hope my brother doesn't poop his pants again. Because I am NOT cleaning that.

Early

I hate waking up early.
I hate waking up early to go write a French exam.
I hate waking up early to go write a French exam that I don't technically have to write.

It's stupid. and Tiring. I'm going to go make myself some tea and hopefully be less tired.

Ps, If anyone wants to buy me the Pathfinder Beastiary, or their GM screen, or any of their other fine and wonderful products for my birthday, I'll love you forever.
PPs, My birthday is soon, holy crap.

Time to get LOST

Is that title clever?
Seriously. I'm asking.

I've spent the last few days aggressively not studying for any of my exams, and instead watching the fifth season of Lost with my cousin. I'm getting repeatedly mindfucked. That storyline is ridiculous. It's a great show, and it's good to see it come to an end and find the end to the myriad of confusing plots and other things that have happened throughout the show's 5 year run. I'm glad I'm watching the fifth season now, when the sixth season is slotted to start next tuesday. But waiting a week each time is going to be impossible with the cliffhangers that they give.

Speaking of, that's going to SERIOUSLY interfere with Game Night.

And there I continue! Since I bought Pathfinder yesterday (And am not going to stop talking about it for a while) I decided that I'm going to try to run a game during the summer. So then, if anyone wants to join this game, let me know. I'll do my best to explain the rules to you before the game starts, and my cousin (Kevin Geloso) will be around to help me out and help the players out. I'm hoping to get at least 3 or 4 more people to come out to this.

I'm still refusing to talk about exams. They are boring, and the only people reading this already know about them.

Going to go watch more Doctor Who now. If you haven't been watching the last few series of Doctor Who, you really should. David Tennant gave a riveting performance as The Doctor, and I have high hopes for Matt Smith, who is starting his reign as everyone's favourite Time Lord march....eleventh I believe? Oh well.
Watch it!

Well Hello There

Not sure if anyone will actually read this.
After all,
We're not in France anymore.

So I've basically created this at the behest of Clara. And her incessant nagging. (I'm using big words. I like that.)
Still.

I don't really have anything to say here. Everybody else is bitching about their exams.
( Wanna know a secret? They're easier here at BR than they were at St. Marys....)
I want to break the mold and do something different.

Hmm.....

OHHHH!

My cousin just gave me a link to download the Pathfinder Core Rulebook. I plan on buying it tomorrow, so it's not like it's really stealing...
But anyway.

For anyone that knows what Advanced Dungeons and Dragons is. Or cares. My friends and I have been running a game for a while now, in the 3.5 edition released by Wizards of the Coast. Last year Wizards released the 4th edition of the game...but I'm not even going to mention that pile of garbage. Pathfinder is essentially an *upgrade* to 3.5, fixing some things that didn't work as well as they could and changing some rules that were never used. It was released by Paizo Publishing a few months ago, and has been getting great reviews by everyone that missed 3.5. I'm really looking forward to getting that book, and not studying math, tomorrow.

I'm done for today. Let's see if I keep a better schedule here than I did in France.
